Because of your foundational, financial and personal interest in the Friendship Park project we have made some great progress.  Thank you for your support which has enabled the board of the Memphis Friendship Foundation to continue to pursue what we are convinced will be an amazing place of beauty, play, technological marvel and the occasion of making the world a safer and more joyful place.

Your board has been working hard over the past several months toward the creation of a detailed master site plan which we can then use to seek complete financial support for the construction of the park.  The land on the Heartsong side of the road has been surveyed and appraised and can be purchased for about the same amount as we paid for the plot on the south side of Humphrey Road which we already own.  That will give us just over eight acres for the park.
